Lees Pearson Aspen
Lees Pearson of Lees Pearson Aspen created her first piece of clothing in 5th grade and went on to develop a unique artistic eye throughout high school and college. She moved to Aspen, Colorado after school, where she launched her career as a couture dressmaker. Her early work included creating unique, handmade gowns and formal attire for private clients in the style of the large French and Italian fashion houses.
After taking a hiatus from the fashion world to raise and home educate her three children, Lees created a one-of-a-kind evening clutch for an important family wedding. The clutch received rave reviews, and Lees began creating other handbags and purses for close friends and family. After several large commissions and private orders, she launched her line of specialty handbags in Aspen and beyond.
Each bag is hand-crafted by Lees in her studio in Aspen, using the finest ethically sourced leather, skins, and furindividually chosen by her. Many of her bags also incorporate hand-woven Italian fabrics she has collected over the years on her sourcing sprees to Italy. Due to the unique nature of each piece, these bags are produced in very limited quantities.
