I really loved the pleated, almost tuxedo-like detail at the top,” she says. The vivid fuchsia dress, with its contrasting purple pleated bib, pointed collar, fitted waist, and full skirt, also seems to anticipate the saturated, head-to-toe pink that would become one of Pierpaolo Piccioli’s defining statements at Valentino with his Pink PP collection years later.
