After graduating from college (where she tinkered with sewing outfits for close friends), Tish Cox worked for Barneys New York and Stanley Korshak.
Following an overwhelming response to her first trunk show in Dallas, Tish taught herself to grade and spent week nights sewing in her kitchen. After about 250 pieces, she sourced a pattern maker, graders, cutters, and a sewing room to scale the business, launching her second collection in early 2011. Fast forward to today, Tish Cox is a cult-followed designer in Dallas and beyond.
Her loyal client base is always clamoring for more; Tish puts a limit on what she cuts and how much fabric she buys, and her fans truly collect her pieces like art. The SIL is proud to be the first e-commerce partner for the Tish Cox brand.
