“I always loved a 1950s starburst motif,” Jenny says of these sparkling crystal screw-back earrings, discovered while antiquing with her mother in New Jersey. Their dramatic burst silhouette immediately recalls the optimism and glamour of postwar design—from rhinestone cocktail jewelry to Formica kitchens and Pyrex dinnerware. “I loved a bit of sparkle,” she says. “So I collected so many little rhinestone pieces like this.” Jenny often styled them with simple black looks, allowing the crystalline shimmer to become the focal point of the outfit.
