Under Daniel Lee, Bottega Veneta underwent a quiet revolution—one that traded logos for texture and restraint for confident minimalism. Debuting as part of his early collections for the house, the Lido sandal became an instant signature, its exaggerated intrecciato and square-toe shape helping to usher in a new, 1990s-tinged vocabulary of luxury.
