My mother used to tell me how beautiful it made my eyes look, and eventually I started listening,” she says. Illesteva was founded in New York in 2010 by Daniel Silberstein and Justin Salguero, with an emphasis on combining downtown New York style with traditional eyewear craftsmanship.
