“I'm obsessed with leopard. I have leopard blindness—both leopard and Union Jack blindness,” Ivy Getty says, this vintage fur hat representing one of many animal-print pieces in her closet and a pattern she says she can never resist. Believed to have been found in a vintage shop in Paris or London, where she sources many of her hats, it has a sculptural pillbox-like silhouette and pieced fur in tawny brown and cream that lends old-world glamour to even the simplest look. Ivy calls it “the perfect little accessory,” adding that “it can be casual and it can also be dressed up…I’d wear it for any occasion, really.” Equal parts uptown polish and bohemian eccentricity, it reflects the whimsical spirit she gravitates toward again and again.
