From Nicolas Ghesquière's debut Fall/Winter 2014 collection for Louis Vuitton, this sleeveless quilted bouclé mini dress balances sporty polish with runway craftsmanship. Finished with glossy black leather trim, a crisp pleated bib, and a zip-front polo collar, it became one of Sue's favorite Art Basel looks. "Nicolas Ghesquière's Louis Vuitton designs were feminine, but strong," she says. "It was beautifully designed and beautifully made, but it also emanated some kind of strength." Though unmistakably modern, she loved its vintage undertones. "It had a little bit of a historical feel—maybe the fifties or sixties—but it was also super fashion-forward."
