About the Item:

"The only thing I love as much as art is fashion," Sue says. She met artist Kenny Scharf at the Dubai Art Fair and, after getting to know him personally, says she came to understand his work in an entirely new way. So when Scharf collaborated with Dior's Kim Jones for Pre-Fall 2021, "I had to have it," she recalls. Crafted from an intricate multicolored jacquard knit, the sweater features Scharf's signature cast of playful, cartoon-like characters woven across the entire surface. Sue wore it—intentionally oversized—to the opening of Frieze London, pairing it with Valentino shorts and knee-high rain boots. "Anytime I can wear art, that's just an added bonus for me."

About the Label:

For Dior's Fall 2021 collection, artistic director Kim Jones invited legendary American artist Kenny Scharf to reinterpret the house through his joyful, psychedelic visual language. A contemporary of Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Scharf transformed Dior knitwear, tailoring, and accessories with his instantly recognizable cast of colorful, cartoon-like characters. The collaboration became one of Jones's most celebrated artist partnerships, uniting Parisian couture craftsmanship with the exuberant spirit of New York's 1980s art scene.
