About the Item:

Classic 1960s elegance with a touch of Old Hollywood glamour, this Lilli Ann coat is the sort of piece that makes even the simplest outfit feel dressed up. Cut in a gently flared A-line silhouette, it features a generous shawl collar, long sleeves, and two oversized decorative buttons. A striped satin lining in shades of blue, gray, and black adds an unexpected detail to the otherwise understated design. Equally chic over a cocktail dress or worn with trousers and boots, it's a timeless addition to any winter wardrobe.

About the Label:

Founded in San Francisco in 1933 by Adolph Schuman and named after his wife, Lillian, Lilli Ann became one of America's leading manufacturers of luxury women's coats and suits. The label was celebrated for its elaborate tailoring, distinctive silhouettes, and exceptional European fabrics. Following World War II, Schuman established relationships with French and Italian textile mills, helping revive their businesses while securing beautiful materials for his collections. By the 1950s, Lilli Ann was known for its sophisticated, often dramatic designs, which attracted customers including Lucille Ball, Loretta Young, and Esther Williams. The company continued producing clothing through the 1990s.
