"I like pink coats—as you can tell,” says Dee. “When I opened this coat up and saw the fur lining, I knew I had to have it. And the color—I don’t know where you’re going to find another coat like this. I live in Florida now, so I have less of a need for coats!” By T. Jones, the long coat pairs a vivid pink Aida-cloth exterior with a fully fur-lined interior, creating a striking contrast complete with gold buttons.

About the Label:

T. Jones was a New York boutique label that quietly dominated the shopping pages of Vogue in the 1960s. Operating out of its own shops—including 15 West 57th Street—the house designed and manufactured its collections in-house, focusing on well-made dresses, coats, and suits rather than trends or spectacle. As the New York Times noted in 1966, T. Jones took a pragmatic, almost radical approach: no sales, no markdowns, no gimmicks—just clothing priced “right” from the start.
