"I just thought that it was a really simple, pretty, feminine dress that could be worn anywhere," Sue recalls. Crafted from black-and-white daisy guipure lace, the mini dress features Self-Portrait's signature scalloped lace hem, sheer organza ruffle sleeves, and a flattering grosgrain-defined waist. "Really for anything—for a women's luncheon or out to dinner at night," she says. One occasion, however, stands out: "I distinctly remember wearing it to the Anderson Ranch Arts Gala in Aspen."
