Founded in Madrid in 1846, Loewe began as a collective of leather artisans and remains one of Spain’s oldest luxury houses. Under Jonathan Anderson, who served as creative director from 2013 to 2025, that heritage was recast through an artful, often witty lens. The house’s looping Anagram—originally designed in 1970 by Spanish artist Vicente Vela—became one of the most recognizable signatures of Anderson’s Loewe.
