Sarah bought this woven raffia hat ahead of a trip to Mexico, drawn to its exaggerated proportions and easy, beach-ready feel. The structured crown is framed by an extra-wide, deliberately frayed brim, with shell detailing and long ties. “I’m always that person who wants a hat and then doesn’t have it,” Sarah says. “I loved that this one had the ties, so when I was traveling I could just tie it onto my Goyard tote and keep going.”

About the Label:

Ecuadorian designer Stephany Sensi founded Sensi Studio in 2010 after studying fashion design and brand management at Istituto Marangoni and working with Tomas Maier in Miami. The label began with Panama hats and woven accessories, reinterpreting Ecuador’s traditional straw-working techniques through a contemporary resortwear lens. Its pieces are handmade in Ecuador in collaboration with local artisans, including women in Andean communities, with a particular emphasis on preserving the country’s centuries-old tradition of weaving toquilla straw.Measurements:
