This olive green slip dress features a cream floral lace bodice and hem, delicate lace appliqué at the bust, and contrasting mocha shoulder straps. Lily discovered it while browsing a local vintage shop in Highland Park and immediately imagined the many ways it could be worn. "I thought it would be cute with a sweater, or to wear a bigger skirt over it and use the top, or a little cardigan over it," she says. "I loved the contrast with the color—the olive and brown with the lace detail. It just felt like a really unique slip to me." Though simple in silhouette, it quickly earned a place in her closet. "It's probably from the '40s," she notes. "It just felt like a really unique slip."
