About the Item:

Sarah bought this REDValentino playsuit for a trip to the Amalfi Coast, where it became one of two rompers she wore constantly. The blush-pink silk crepe de chine bodice is finished with a Peter Pan collar and scalloped placket, while the contrasting burgundy shorts feature matching scalloped pockets and a softly flared silhouette. “I love the burgundy and the blush pink—I think they’re such a fun color combination,” Sarah says. “I wore this up and down and all around the Amalfi Coast.” 

About the Label:

REDValentino was launched in 2003 as the younger sister line to Valentino, the Roman couture house founded by Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti in 1960. Its name played on both Valentino’s signature color and the idea of “Romantic Eccentric Dress,” translating the house’s femininity into a more youthful vocabulary of bows, lace, scallops, and playful proportions. The line was discontinued in 2024.
