Lily Kaizer

Lily Kaizer is the founder of Happy Isles, the appointment-only vintage salon that has become a destination for brides, collectors, and fashion insiders in search of extraordinary pieces with history. Known for sourcing everything from couture bridal gowns to one-of-a-kind resortwear, she has helped dress women including Emma Roberts and Millie Bobby Brown for milestone moments, while cultivating a loyal following drawn to her impeccable eye and deeply personal approach to shopping. She describes her own style in three words as "laid back, resort-y, thrifted," but always returns to the 1960s for its "clean lines and cheeky details." A lifelong collector, Kaizer believes she has to be "viscerally obsessed" with every piece she acquires—a philosophy that has made Happy Isles one of the country's most respected vintage destinations. Whether uncovering a forgotten gem at a local estate sale or rescuing an overlooked designer piece from an auction lot, she's driven by the conviction that the best vintage deserves to be worn again. Her hardest piece to part with for The SIL was a Bill Tice for Malcolm Starr silk caftan: "The fabric is delicious and the fit is perfection—flowy yet truly sleek."
